Photographer's Note
Although Hundertwasser first achieved notoriety for his boldly-coloured paintings, he is more widely known for his individual architectural designs. These designs use irregular forms, and incorporate natural features of the landscape. The Hundertwasserhaus apartment block in Vienna has undulating floors ("an uneven floor is a melody to the feet"), a roof covered with earth and grass, and large trees growing from inside the rooms, with limbs extending from windows. He took no payment for the design of Hundertwasserhaus, declaring that the investment was worth it to "prevent something ugly from going up in its place"...

There is so much beauty in simplicity. The B/W photograph (not exactly B/W - is it ?) impresses on the viewer a sense of being imersed in the moment. The mood that is reflected from the face and posture of the boy. The uneven ground and the crop in the photograph makes this composition excellent.
The clothes, the boots and the cap .. all add to the sensitivity of the theme.
Thanks for sharing.

Tebrikler.

Hello Korkut,
although I know that mos t of your pictures are in BW, I am just amazed you have did it with something that colourful as the Hundertwasser is. I really like your idea.
I like the crookedness visible everywhere, the boys presence adds playful atmosphere.
Well done
Best regards
Romana

Hi Korkut
I have visited it in vienna 10 years ago. Why don't you post a color image? By the tilt, the young boy seems to be already in Hundertwasser world!
Cheers
