Photographer’s Note

Sankt Georgen is a municipality in the district of Salzburg-Umgebung in the state of Salzburg in Austria.

Sankt Georgen bei Salzburg ist eine Gemeinde im Salzburger Land im Bezirk Salzburg-Umgebung in Österreich.

Die Kirche St. Georgen (ad georgii ecclesiam) wurde schon im "Indiculus Arnonis" im Jahr 789 erstmals erwähnt. St. Georgen war als Dekanat bis 1803 mit der niederen Gerichtsbarkeit ausgestattet.

Am 11. August 2006 erneuerte der Kölner Künstler Gunter Demnig die bereits 1997 verlegten Stolpersteine für die beiden 1943 hingerichteten Zeugen Jehovas Johann und Matthias Nobis. Vor dieser von Bürgermeister Friedrich Amerhauser unterstützen Aktion konnte Gunter Demnig seine Stolpersteine nur ohne Genehmigung der jeweiligen Gemeinde verlegen.

Guten Morgen Georg!
Hier gefällt mir besonders der Name der Kirche ;-))
Wieder ein wunderschönes Bild mit unglaublicher Schärfe und herrlichen Farben. Ein schönes Gebäudeensemble. Du hast den Spagat zwischen Licht und Schatten hier toll gemeistert.

Hello Georg, the church of Sankt Georgen is slightly shifted within the framework what guides the glance and pleasing depth in L `image, this one takes all its dimension in are environment immaculate and frozen, particularly through this vegetable framing, the luminosity seems concentrated on the religious building, which develops the building in a good framing to show us this village and its well covered with snow environment, against diving gives more to L `image, sincerely ......................Bonjour Georg, l’église de Sankt Georgen est légèrement décalée dans le cadre ce qui guide le regard et amène de la profondeur dans l‘image, celle-ci prend toute sa dimension dans sont environnement immaculé et glacé, particulièrement au travers de cet encadrement végétal, la luminosité semble se concentré sur l’édifice religieux, ce qui valorise le bâtiment dans un bon cadrage pour nous montrer ce village et son environnement bien enneigé, la contre plongée donne un plus à l‘image, bien amicalement

Nice POV here showing us the church from an upward angle. Your composition is fine using the slope of the landscape to create a diagonal through the shot giving the shot a sense of direction. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. The deep blue sky provides a nice backdrop for the shot.

Muszê przyznaæ, ¿e nadal masz niezwyk³ego farta z pogod±. ja raczej rzadko napotykam powietrze tak klarowne i tak piêkne s³oñce, ¿e zdumiony jestem tak wielka czêsto¶ci± s³oñcva w Twoim portfolio.
