Photographer’s Note

Seewiesen is a tiny village (municipality of Turnau) in the Styrian Alps at the foot of the Hochschwab mountain group and not far away from the famous pilgrimage center Maria Zell.

I was there for a professional training, the weather was definately not a distraction...

BTW this is my 200th posting on TE (didn't even notice at first :-)

Hi Guenther,

nice photo. I like the architecture of the buildings (is it a church?). The colors are fantastic. The fog gave a mystical felling.

Si l'on peut joindre l'utile à l'agréable, il ne faut pas se priver d'un tel paysage et d'immortaliser ce bien joli moment !
La composition ne manque pas de beauté. Il se dégage de l'ensemble un pur moment de sérénité.

Conosco bene, attualmente, in giro dalle nostre parti, questo cielo grigio. Anche qui a Dobbiaco non perdona, giorno dopo giorno. Però questa tua foto é incantevole. La vecchia casa di pietra e legno (non é un fienile, vero?) e la canonica ( é la canonica?) che quasi sembrano appoggiarsi, come a trovar protezione, contro alla chiesa sono una vera chicca fotografica e...intellettuale. Ti dirò inoltre che il cielo bigio e quasi fumigante di nebbia rende il tutto simile a una fiaba. In altre parole: questa tua foto mi piace moltissimo. Günther!

das nebelige Wetter ist doch kein Hinderniss...sondern traegt dazu bei, diese Ansicht nocht faszinierender zu sein

questa veduta alpina con chiesetta bianca, abeti svettanti, boccioli di fiori spuntati a primavera e nebbia sulle alture è molto, molto affascinante: mi pare di sentire il profumo di questa natura rigogliosa. Bellissimo scatto. Complimenti!!

Hallo Günther, Glückwunsch zum TE-Jubiläum. Nicht schlecht, so eine Location für ein Seminar - ich hoffe, Du hast den Aufenthalt trotzdem genossen. Die typisch steirische Szenerie ist schön eingefangen, mit einem geschmackvollen und überlegten Bildaufbau. Die regenverhangene Stimmung ist klar zu erkennen. Ich hoffe, es ist nächste Woche besser, wenn ich mich für ein paar Tage in Richtung Graz aufmache :o) Schönes Wochenende.

hai fatto un bello scatto anche con questo cielo così, anzi, includendo gli alberi in primo piano e la staccionata hai dato un senso di profondità maggiore alla foto, che poi lentamente si perde fra le nubi. Mi piace!

Hallo Günther!
Zuerst einmal Glückwunsch zum "Durchhalten"! Das 200.! Hut ab!
Übrigens - ein schönes Motiv, und auch ohne Sonne wunderschön. All dieses Grün rundherum kommt so viel besser zur Geltung als im Sonnenschein. Berufsfortbildung in einer solchen Umgebung - das lasse ich mir gefallen ;-)
So - auf zu den nächsten 200!

Luogo incantevole dove sembra che il tempo si sia fermato. L'Austria di montagna ha sempre questo effetto anestetizzante per noi padani, sarà per questo che preferisco invece di molto il movimento della capitale Vienna ;)
