Photographer’s Note

Shot taken at d Hauptplatz of Graz.
Built in the Middle Ages as a trapezoidal market square, the Hauptplatz was the centre of public life. And it still is. There is the town hall, the seat of the mayor and the city administration. All trams of Graz stop there. The major shopping streets lead to the square. And crowded around the monument to Archduke Johann, there are numerous sausage stands ("Würstelstände") where people like to stand together to have some Krainer or frankfurter sausages with horseradish and mustard, and a pleasant chat..... :)

Szia Linda. Szepek ezek a reggeli fenyek, ahogy a villamossineken meg az utcakovon jatszik, az kulonosen tetszik. Sztem en megvartam volna, hogy elmenjen a villamos, igy kockaztatva, hogy a megismetelhetetlen fenyviszonyok elvesznek. Es lehet, hogy egy lepes balra es a szembe jovo alakok sziluettje is kirajzolodott volna. De jol tetted, hogy nem vartal, szep kep lett. Udv, B.

I like this twilight shot...the brown/golden light on the tracks....the silhouette of that "cityrunner" (that's the name of this kind of tramcar....I have been working in the railway technologies before....) partially hidden in the shadows....

a pleasant shot.

nicely captured streetscapes, the afternoon sun reflected from the rails and stone lit up the street. very good timing.

Hello Melinda,
a simple street scene, but made magic by the superb light of the sunset. Those tracks become gold and give the whole also a very graphical aspect. Lovely mood. There is some hue/chromatic aberration in the colors of the buildings, but it's not too disturbing (could be solved with some PP), as the eyes are attracted towards the shining tracks.

das Licht, das auf die Geleise fällt ist so sanft, fantastisch...
auch die Bildaufteilung gefällt mir, die Strassenbahn ist vielleicht etwas zu dunkel geraten.
