Photographer’s Note

Another photo from Austria's smallest city. I loved those small, colourful and well kept houses. Can you see a stork nest on the chimney? Unfortunately, as I came there, many of the white storks (city's hallmark, mind you) were already gone. I wish that car were gone, too ;-)Behind the big gates (such as the one in front of the car)there's an inner yard, surrouded by the building if you know what I mean.

Hello Joanna,

The car on the right is a bit distracting but the one in the middle seem well placed there. I like the colourful buildings and the clean blue sky. It seem this is a very clean little city with interesting way of life. The framing of the image is very effective to capture good elements of the place. Thanks Joanna.

Hello Joanna,
Even as a thumbnail this picture looked quite special, one that needed a closer look. The prettiness of this place is almost obscene ;-), the pastel colours, the tidiness, the flowers, stork nests, and of course the incredibly blue sky. And with some careful post-processing you might have got rid of the car...

what a lovely town. so typical of the area - that Austro-Hungarian charm. colors, light and framing are wonderful. good thing it's only a cute white small car. a pretty postcard.
