Photographer’s Note

The second photo taken from the church of Sant Cristòfol de Anyós, in the Principality of Andorra. I remember that in other one of my presentations of the mountains, our friend Enrique asked me if I had some photo of a sunset in Andorra, and I answered that the deep valleys between high mountains they were a problem to catch nice sunsets, but also I promised him that I would try it. The time that I was hoping that sunset was coming to capture those photos provoked a small cold. ;o).
This photo is the result of this promise, in a series of photos at the blue hour that are dedicated to him.
In WS it is possible to see a wider angle on the village of La Massana and the valley of the Valira del Nord.
I hope that all of you like.

Hallo Josep!
A really worth seeing photo with a special atmosphere, a nearly solemn one. The contrast betwen all these lamps and the bluish valleys and slopes in the background is breathtaking and gorgeous. A photo "to dream into"...
Greetings from rainy, stormy and cool Germany!

Hola Josep,
I can imagine it must be very difficult to catch a good sunset in Andorra. But this picture is a very good capture of those deep valleys and the surrounding high mountains. The composition is really good and you managed the light very well. Beautiful colour and light of the buildings down in the valley.
Best regards, Paul

Hola Josep:

Felicitaciones.
Abrazos para ti y muchos cariños para Pili.

Hello Josep,
It is fairly rare to see lowlight landscape photographs, but it works well here thanks to the artificial lights in the valley!
Lovely colours and fine contrast, well exposed with fine details...
The remaining light is sufficient to create a fine feeling of depth in the image!
Greetings,

Bonsoir Josep,

Tu as bien géré l'exposition.

Very nice capture, with low lights at the edge of the day/night. The electric lights are very nice details, and the valley is beautiful.

Hello Josep,
You use a tripod, 20 seconds is extraordinarily, perhaps must you 800 ISO or more using.
This is absolutely not bad, but a specially composition, the light above making this picture very attractive.
Very well done, TFS.
Best regards,
John.

Bonjour mon cher Josep

Wow, I love this experiment of Sunset in Andorra, Josep. The streets seem on fire. Like a hot river of lava coming from a volcano...Beautiful vision of all the lines of the surrounding mountains descending to the town and lovely thin stripe of sky on top. The WS is also a nice one, but I prefer this closer view.
Un abrazo,

Hola mi amigo Josep,
You captured an enviable scene again with many fantastic soft lights, looks like a river of lights. Your perfect capture settings show all details without any loss especially amazing tone differences on mountain silhouettes through of valley. A very good one, congratulations. Have a nice weekend.

Hola Josep
Excellent shot taken in tricky light. The darkness of the valley is enveloped by fading natural light on the far end, creating the blue of the mountains. The street lights brighten up the valley. Excellent exposure on this one to make this a fine work my friend!

Woow, Josep, that's incredibel! The lights in the valley looks like rivers of lava and because of the surrounding mountins one could think that you photographed the crater of a volcano!!
Great shot! TFS!
