Photographer’s Note

After my post on the Grandalla, which I found during my excursion for the Camí Ral de Sorteny, in its section from El Serrat up to Llorts, I am going to present several photos of this tour across the nature of the mountains and Andorran forests.
We go out of the parking in the entry to Sorteny's Valley and for the right shore of the river we descend towards the valley. Across forests, and walking always close to the river, we come to the village of El Serrat., for a way that is put up signs well by marks of yellow and red colour, which they it identify as GRP (Great Tour for the Country).

From El Serrat we change shore and continue descending across meadows and forests, where we will find cows and horses, up to coming to the village of LLorts, from where we can continue up to La Cortinada.

This one is a suitable itinerary for the all the people, with a low difficulty, a slope of approximately 300 m, but across a wild very beautiful zone.

Information of the Camí Ral de Sorteny:
The royal way was the one that was in use former, before the construction of the roads, for the general communications and of more traffic. Hereabouts there were passing the animals, which were lowering the wood of the mountain, were transporting merchandising, were going up to the pastures. Ordino's royal way was a way very met along that still today many people pass to go of walk and to come to the fields, and that besides the great landscape attraction, allows us to bring us over to the life of Ordino's valley; during the tour, for example, we can visit a few former mines of iron, alive testimony of the brilliance of the exploitation of the iron in Andorra along the 17th century and beginning of the 18th.

The photo that I present today catches the curious look of a horse that we met during the tour, close to the way. These horses are in use for working in the fields, especially in the farming of the tobacco.

The WS is a more general plane where you can see the group of horses that were expecting to be photographed. If you caress one of them, others approach to be caressed also. They are very sociable but a bit jealous.

Después de mi post sobre la Grandalla, que encontré durante mi excursión por el Camí Ral d’Ordino, en su tramo desde El Serrat hasta Llorts, voy a presentar varias fotos de este recorrido por la naturaleza de las montañas y bosques andorranos.
Salimos del aparcamiento en la entrada al Valle de Sorteny y por el margen derecho del río descendemos hacia el valle. A través de bosques, y caminando siempre al lado del río, llegamos al pueblo de El Serrat., por un camino que está bien señalizado con marcas de color amarillo y rojo, que lo identifican como GRP (Gran Recorrido por el País).
Desde El Serrat cambiamos de orilla y seguimos descendiendo por prados y bosques, por donde encontraremos vacas y caballos, hasta llegar al pueblo de LLorts, desde donde podemos seguir hasta La Cortinada.

Éste es un itinerario apto para todo el mundo, con una dificultad baja, un desnivel de unos 300 m, pero por una zona salvaje muy bella.

Información del Camí Ral d’Ordino:
El camino real era el que se utilizaba antiguamente, antes de la construcción de las carreteras, para las comunicaciones generales y de más tránsito. Por aquí pasaban los animales, que bajaban la madera de la montaña, transportaban mercaderías, iban hasta los pastos. El camino real de Ordino era un camino muy concurrido por el que todavía hoy día transita mucha gente para ir de paseo y llegar a los campos, y que además del gran atractivo paisajístico, nos permite acercarnos a la vida del valle de Ordino; durante el recorrido, por ejemplo, podemos visitar unas antiguas minas de hierro, testimonio vivo del esplendor de la explotación del hierro en Andorra a lo largo del siglo XVII y principios del XVIII.

La foto que presento hoy capta la mirada curiosa de un caballo que nos encontramos durante el recorrido, justo al lado del camino. Estos caballos se utilizan para trabajar en los campos, sobre todo en el cultivo del tabaco.

El WS es un plano más general donde podéis ver el grupo de caballos que esperaban ser fotografiados. Si acaricias a uno de ellos, los otros se acercan para ser acariciados también. Son muy sociables pero un poco celosos.

La verdad es que los caballos me dan miedo. Pero este me parece muy símpatico. Nunca hubiera pensado que sacarle unas fotos me hayara ayudo para acercarme pero quiza es una buena idea ;-)

You caught a decisive moment in natural expression of horse. His short cut, different colored mane, powerful sunlights creates amazing view with your very good used focus at front of pure green forest. His skin already like a paint and its very interesting using them in a tobacco field. I think the tobacco growing there must be very valuable. Great addition of workshop post while showing us all of them together. Congratulations.

I am a very great lover of animals, certainly from horses, my father had horses on the farm.
Wild horses have I never seen, this have very are very lovely.
Lovely picture my friend, a pity that we missing the eye this is very important on this image, but the shadow do the eye disappear.
But I like however this horse. very well done.

Effectivement, ils ne semblent pas très sauvages ces chevaux, ni sur cette photo, ni sur le WS! J'aime le contraste des couleurs entre les verts de la nature et le roux des chevaux.
Les courbes du cou du cheval et son attitude sont très douces et belles.

La composicion es inusual, el animal mirando hacia un costado, inapropiado para mi gusto, frente a la ubicacion en el encuadre, y la sombra del cuello es bastante pronunciada. Pero quizas estos detalles, pasen inadvertidos frente al fondo que es precioso y bien contrastante.

Sin embargo, tu estilo es muy llamativo, cuando de presentar trabajos de este tipo expones. Feliz fin de semana, amigo

Ce cheval est beau comme une statue devant un beau paysage de forêt en montagne. J'aime la netteté et les belles couleurs sous une lumière magnifique. Les lignes de la bête sont très pures.

une photo qui ne manque pas de relief, les couleurs contrastent en effet tellement bien que ce cheval se découpe vaiment de la verdure qui l'encadre.
La zone d'ombre est juste un peu sombre/

What a handsome fellow, Josep :D He seems ready to go to a party with that lovely white hair and brushed fur - I noticed they are not all alike in WS and I think this is the most beautiful one. Excellent approach with marvellous contrasts and colors. I like the general view in WS as well, even with that white line which makes an interesting interplay with the white line on the sky ;-)

Tienes fotos impresionantes, muy bonitas y todas de 10, todas me gustaron muchisimo, esta del caballo, me gusto mucho es uno de los animales que más me gustan, me gusto el contraste de colores entre el caballo y ese fondo de arboles verde, un plano realmente precioso, el WS también muy bonito, buen trabajo..
