Photographer’s Note
The weather is changing and it is time to look forward to the ski season. What better way than to pull out one of the perfect days from the past when the sun shone out of a cloudless sky on fresh snow. The view is to the north from about 2200 meters.

Joso: if you mean the part to the left. I see that effect in the original. It is the sun shining on snow that is just at the freezing point, so it has a reflective crust on it. It looks like that - like melting icing, perhaps.

Very very beautiful photo you made Peter. The air must be very dry and clean in this height - seen by the clear blue sky. I like the panorama, which goes from shadow to bright snow. Glad you got the lift on the photo too - gives an idea of the dimensions - Thanks for sharing.

Very nice winter panorama. Sky is bery beautiful and the mountains are very nice... 3 time sleeping and I will go skiing...

Very nice panorama. I love winter scenes and this one is very fantastic. Well exposed and very nicely stitched.

Just one thing: the snow looks like silk here and there - due to postprocessing, or Neatimage?
