Photographer’s Note

When I saw this workman standing in the tree pruning the limbs, I thought it would be a colourful photograph with his blue uniform and the blue sky.

Just as I raised my camera, he dropped his saw and answered his mobile phone. It looked as if he had climbed the tree to get a better signal. I just wish he had been facing me instead of the other way.

It looks like spring was coming 2 weeks ago. Now we are having yet another blizzard. When will it end?

Funny, this one :] Colours are very nice! Not an every day sight, a fellow calling from the top of a tree.

Good sharp and original shot. The blue uniform of the man contrast well with all this gray tones. We really could tought he speaks to someone on a balcony, on the top right, like Romeo and Juliette! I would have liked to see the result with less DOF too, and concentrate the focus on the man. Well done.

Very interesting composition-I think it is better that he is not facing you-it adds mystery to the photograph.
