Photographer’s Note

For much of the year this stream, which feeds the Valira river, is just a trickle. But in the spring when the snow is melting, there is a lot more water. The water is cold, clear and clean. Beautiful mountain water.

Pic de Casamanya is a 2740m peak in the north part of the country of Andorra. The climb to the top takes about two and a half hours. This stream and waterfall is less than an hour from the village of Ordino, where you start the hike up the mountain. A perfect place to rest and listen to the sounds of the water falling on the rocks.

If you want to find this spot and have a GPS, it is very near the Casamanya Geocache.

I have checked some maps and don't find a name for the waterfall. So I will christen it TrekEarth Falls.
