Photographer’s Note

Hoy vuelvo a los paisajes de las montañas de Andorra, en esta otra foto tomada desde el Port de Cabús (2.320 m), límite entre Andorra y España, y por donde se entra en la comarca del Pallars Sobirà a través de una ruta conocida como la “Ruta de los contrabandistas”. Al fondo el Coll de la Botella (2069m) se recorta sobre el cielo azul.

Es un lugar que he visitado muchas veces y donde siempre encuentro nuevos ángulos para tomar fotos de estas impresionantes vistas.

En WS presento una foto complementaria, tomada por mi esposa, en la que estoy preparando mi cámara, al lado del coche, en compañía de nuestro fiel perro y compañero inolvidable “DRU”, que disfrutó corriendo en libertad por estas montañas durante toda su vida.

Today I return to the landscapes of the mountains of Andorra, in this another photo taken from the Port de Cabús (2.320 m), limit between Andorra and Spain, and where one enters the region of the Pallars Sobirà across a route known as the "Route of the smugglers". In background the Coll of the Bottle (2069m) stands out on the blue sky.

It is a place that I have visited often and where always I find new angles to take photos of these impressive views.

In WS I present a complementary photo taken by my wife, in which I am preparing my camera, next to the car, in company of our faithful dog and unforgettable companion "DRU", who enjoyed running freely across these mountains during all his life.

Its a lovely landscape of blues and greens.. the picture however seems to have a colour cast, which i removed in photoshop...

Une magnifique perspective, une superbe profondeur d'image et un titre vraiment bien choisi. Il ressort en effet de cette photo une athmosphère de sérénité. les nuances dans le couleur verte dominante sont très belles.

Difficile de résister au plaisir de contempler le mouvement des montagnes qui s'amusent à se grandir, à ces chemins que l'on devine au loin, ces nuages qui roulent fièrement sur les cols et sommets. Une bien belle image d'un pays montagneux.

Muy apropiado el titulo, realmente una belleza estos altos valles, una gran perspectiva que nos permite ver una cadena tras otra de montañas, que verdes mas atrayentes, el cielo con sus nubes pone su grano de arena para completar el marco.

Hi Josep. Until today I hadn’t realised Andorra was a country in its own right, I obviously haven’t been paying proper attention. You did a nice job of capturing the braod expansiveness of this beautiful mountain valley, not an easy task.

Your wife is also quite a good photographer, in some ways, I like her photo better than yours, perhaps it's that polite gentleman waiting by your side.

Great new profile photo, you and your wife must be lucky enough to live near-by this young fellow to get such frequent updates.

Sin duda de que estos paisajes en Andorra, están llenos de plenitud belleza. La perspectiva irradia frescura, profundidad y hermosas tonalidades.

El encuadre encierra un buen conjunto de elementos armonicos, como las montañas y las nubes en lo alto.

Hola mi estimado amigo Josep.
Un magnifico paisaje de las preciosas montañas de Andorra, muy buenos colores y buen efecto de profundidad, las nubes y cielo hacen un buen contraste con el verdor de las montañas. Me gusto mucho tu WS donde veo a Dru, la verdad que era un lindo perro.
Descubrí que si vas a beta.trekearth.com encontraras el "viejo" TE. Lo que haces aquí sale allá también y lo mismo, si haces alguna critica allá sale aquí igual. Creo que lo van a dejar por un tiempo.
Bueno mi amigo espero que estén ustedes dos y la familia muy bien, aquí todos gracias a Dios bien.

The other TE friends have already said all, but this one deserves another two points. A photo without red, yellow- interesting! I like especially this impression of wideness here - but I do not like these obviously inevitable Autobahns for skiing at all ;-)

C'est une image estivale de tes belles montagnes que tu nous présentes là. J'aime les pâturages et les forêts qui vont jusqu'aux sommets de l'horizon. On sentirait presque le grand air vivifiant !

Very calm & queit feeling one gets seeing this picture. Indeed the green is so very soothing! Like the layers of mountains in the BG, almost to vanishing point. The clouds are also good, almost 3D & adds to the frame. Good work my friend!
