The thermal resort of Caldea
Caldea, Andorra Caldea is one of Europe’s largest health spas, a futuristic architectural wonder situated in the heart of the Andorran mountains. There are over 6000 square meters of indoor and outdoor lagoons, saunas, jacuzzis, pools, Indo-Roman baths, cascades, bubble beds and much more. Fed by natural thermal springs, it is an essential part of any visit to Andorra, especially after a hard day’s fun in the snow.



Caldea, il centro termale dell'Andorra
In Europa è uno dei più importanti centri termali situati tra le montagne. Si chiama Caldea e si trova a pochi km da Andorra la Vella, la capitale dell'Andorra. Già il nome ne sottolinea la peculiarità. Esso risale all'epoca romana: calidae era infatti un nome latino che indicava un posto da cui sgorgava acqua calda, e in catalano caldea significa caldo e tonico. Nel centro si trovano piscine, vasche d'acqua calda e saune, tutte alimentate dall'acqua termale presa dalla fonte di Escaldes-Engordany, dove l'acqua esce a una temperatura di 68°. Cuore del complesso è la laguna di 600 metri quadrati, dove si possono fare dei bagni nell'acqua termale, tenuta costantemente a una temperatura di 32°. Il centro termale di Caldea, caratterizzato da un'architettura futurista, offre diverse forme di interazione terapeutica con l'acqua, prese da varie tradizioni culturali, da quella romana a quella giapponese.

It's a very nice picture.
I like the color oh sky and the pic of cathedral just in the middle of mountain.

It is a really interesting architecture, and it is in a beautiful area. Good composition, with the spectacular big mountains and the reddish sky (clouds) in the background.

Buongiorno Alessandro
questa cattedrale di cristallo deve essere una specie di paese dei balocchi per i fotografi, dove possono sbizzarrirsi con i riflessi. Nota interessante e bella composizione, bravo.
p.s. mi scuso per l'assenza ma il mio cellulare che fa da modem si è spento tristemente dopo un bagno nella coca cola...
