Photographer’s Note

Mi última foto del año. Con ella quiero desear a todos lo amigos de Tekearth UN AÑO NUEVO LLENO DE FELICIDAD, PAZ, SALUD Y AMISTAD.

Esta foto no es habitual en mi trabajo, no soy especialista en retratos. Pero durante un almuerzo en un restaurante de Andorra la Vella, situado en una típica borda andorrana muy bien conservada que mantiene sus antiguas paredes de piedra y vigas de madera, estuve tomando algunas fotos de su bello interior, y vi esta pequeña señorita de cabellos de color panocha, que estaba comiendo como si fuese una persona adulta.
Su actitud me fascinó, y no pude resistir la tentación de fotografiarla utilizando el zoom de mi pequeña cámara puente.

Este color de su cabello me ha inspirado para publicarla en el tema de Marie, Orange Christmas.

Información:
La borda es una casa de campo separada de la masia (o del pueblo) que se utiliza para almacenar los aperos de labranza, para refugiar a los animales y en algunos casos como secadero en la planta superior.
Se trata en la actualidad de una forma arquitectónica muy extendida en toda la geografía rural andorrana.
Muchas bordas han sido restauradas y hoy en día se pueden encontrar a modo de sobrias casas, y en algunos casos habilitadas como restaurantes.

My last photo of the year. With it I want to wish all the Trekearth friends A NEW YEAR FULL OF HAPPINESS, PEACE, HEALTH AND FRIENDSHIP.

This photo is not habitual in my work, I am not a specialist in portraits. But during a luncheon in a restaurant of Andorra la Vella, placed in a typical Andorran very well preserved hut that keeps its former stone walls and wooden girders, I was taking some photos of its beautiful interior, and I saw this red-headed little lady, which she was eating as if she was an adult person.
Her attitude fascinated me, and I could not resist the temptation of photographing her using the zoom of my small bridge camera.

This colour of her hair has inspired me to publish it in the topic of Marie, Orange Christmas.

In the WS, two complementary photos of the decorative details inside the restaurant.

Information:
The hut is a country house separated from the farmhouse (or of the village) that is in use for storing the equipment of tillage, for sheltering to the animals and in some cases as dry in the top floor. It is at present an architectural form very extended in the whole rural Andorran geography.
Many huts have been restored and nowadays they can be like sober houses, and in some cases enabled as restaurants.

this is a delighdul portrait of a delightful little girl.You have captured her skin tones very naturally. The warm light and the glow from her lovely ahir make a very attractive posting.

Hola amigo Josep,
Pues te ha quedado un retrato precioso destacando el pelo de esa pequeña pelirroja con todos sus detalles.
Yo, si me queda tiempo, pondré foto mañana, ya veremos como ando...así despido el año como "Dios manda" en TE.
Por lo que veo, ya estais en Andorra y supongo que celebrareis ahí el fin de año.
Pasadlo muy bien y entrad con buen pie en el 2009.

PD: Olvidé comentar los WS, dile a Pili que los vi, no se me vaya a enfadar. Me gusta mucho el restaurante hecho a partir de una casa de labranza como se ve en su decoración.

Hola Josep, it seems quite a cosy restaurant with a traditional decoration. Love the detail of the ceiling in WS2 - it has a beautiful lighting and the vertical composition is excellent. This is a lovely portrait of the cute girl that seems to have the concerns of a grown up in her expression. Her hair is gorgeous and it fits perfectly in the theme.

What a charming portrait of this little girl. You say she was eating but in keeping with the theme she could just have easily been opening a Christmas present with the thoughtful and expectant expression on her face. It looks like a cosy ressaurant in which to enjoy a meal.

Pour un non spécialiste du portrait je trouve que tu t'en tires très bien. La petite est très absorbé par son occupation. Tu as obtenu un excellent rendu de la peau de cette frimousse, quant aux cheveux ils sont superbes autant pour la texture que pour les reflets.

Hola mi amigo Josep.
Aunque dices que no eres especialista en retratos esta foto de la preciosa niña ha quedado fantástica, su linda expresión y sus bellos cabellos rubios están muy bien captados haciendo una preciosa composición. Ya sabes que estoy atrasado en las criticas, el viaje a las montañas de Polo y luego preparar las fotos tomadas para enviárselas a los amigos que estaban me ha tomado mucho tiempo.
Vi la nota de Charo así que dile a Pili que tambien vi los dos WS y que están muy buenos.
