Brilliance in the mountain Photo

Photographer’s Note

After walking inside the forest that I presented in my previous post, Sorteny's Camí Ral comes to a point in the one that can be enjoyed a great sight on Ordino's valley, a few moments before coming to the village of El Serrat.

In this photo and in the complementary one, which I present in a WS, one sees perfectly the great V that forms the hillsides in the valley, and the resplendent green tones that were decorating its magnificent vegetation and its forests.

I doubted on which of both shots to present as main photo, and finally I chose this one, for its chromatic strength, but I don’t know if I have succeeded in the choice. What do you think?

Después de caminar dentro del bosque que presenté en mi anterior post, el Camí Ral de Sorteny llega a un punto en el que se puede disfrutar de una gran vista sobre el valle de Ordino, unos momentos antes de llegar al pueblo de El Serrat.

En esta foto y en la complementaria, que presento en un WS, se ve perfectamente la gran V que forman las laderas en el valle, y los esplendorosos tonos verdes que decoraban su magnífica vegetación y sus bosques.

Dudé sobre cuál de las dos fotos presentar como foto principal, y finalmente escogí ésta, por su fuerza cromática, pero no sé si he acertado en la elección. ¿Qué pensáis vosotros?

From Andorra I was expecting to see more a U valley (glaciar) than a V one. Anyway, it is a very nice landscape which always makes me wish to visit. The light was perfect and the sky very good for a polariser. I like the white line created by the plane. I am with you, this POV of much more impressive.

This simple photo shows a landscape which nearly is drowned in green - and the sky gives an unbelievable contrast to it. This really must be a special place ...

incontestablement, ce sont les photos de la nature qui demeurent celles que je préfère, même dans la simplicté, comme ici, elles respirent.
J'aime ces verts puissants sous ce ciel très amical, ces collies bien redressées qui offrent des obliques opposées.

Green tones are enviable in your scene with very good depth. I like multi layered green ridges and wonderful blue sky a lot and your timing is perfect while adding a jet track on air. Poplar trees, sort of pine trees are shows how rich the nature there in your perfectly captured photo. Excellent choice for your primary post. Clarity and natural colors in perfect sharpness are usual as every time. Congratulations. Have a nice week end.

hola Josep!

em que do amb aquesta, crec que al mirarla desenvolupes més sensació de profunditat, els colors de l'entorn pirinenc... ja els anyoro, que fa massa dies que no trepitjo muntanya.
La be baixa "V" que formen les valls dels rius y el fet d'haver deixat tant d'espai al cel fan un marc perfecte per transmetre la sensació de llibertat que un pot sentir en aquest lloc.

Las vertientes del valle canalizan ciertamente los andarines, y también la mirada, hasta el “fondo” de esta imagen. Los colores son magníficos y descansados. Tienes haces la buena elección, esta fotografía es mejor que el ws. Buen trabajo.

Hola Josep,
Looking up a mountain valley is a view I've often appreciated in life but seldom seen captured so well. I think it's the way the FG light light turns the hillside to green velvet and the aspen leaves almost transparent against the valley's shadowy depths. Then the bright sky illuminates the scene I do prefer this one because it's more symmetrical.

je crois que j'ai une préférence pour la photo dans le ws, avec l'arbre qui se détache sur la droite et l'aperçu sur le chemin de pierres, mais c'est difficile à dire...Dans les cas, la lumière est belle et fait bien ressortir les deux couleurs dominantes.

Esta foto ès tipica de Andorra con la vista de los dos montes convergentes formando un gran 'V'.
Los colores y esposición estan soberbas y solo nos resta mirar este paisage de sueño.
El avion de meteorologia passando en el cielo y dejando su rastro ès un otro detalle muy interesssante de esta bella foto.

No solo esplendor en la montana, sino tambien esplendorosa foto que has tomado, con unos colores bien definidos, magnifica nitidez y un lindo paisaje.

Me agrada la forma tan central que has tomado la perspectiva, abarcando un plano profundo donde se desarrolla el magnifico contraste de colores. Excelente calidad, como siempre

Hola Josep, in my opinion you did the right choice. Although the other seems to have a more interesting composition, the colors here are more attractive, stronger and making a nicer contrast. Even the minimalist compo, in "V", might please me more. It's a wonderful mountain view of Andorra.

Las dos fotos me gustan mucho, es difícil decidir cual escoger. La forma en V de las dos montañas encontrándose se ve muy bien con el cielo detrás, los colores y tu punto de vista están estupendos.

Pour être franc j'ai une petite attirance pour ta photo en WS qui inclut le petit chemin pierreux à droite. Mais dans les deux cas la belle lumière de printemps qui illumine toutes ces nuances de vert. Paysages montagneux bien agréables à regarder, merci Josep.
