Mountains in Zig Zag Photo

Photographer’s Note

Hoy hago una pequeña pausa en mis fotos de NY, para volver a uno de los paisajes de las montañas de Andorra, desde el Coll de la Botella,(2069m).

En este encuadre intenté captar el espesor de la primera nieve caída allí en otoño, pero con el majestuoso paisaje pirenaico como telón de fondo.

No hay más secretos para esta toma, simplemente pensé que era algo muy bello y disparé mi cámara.

Today I do a small break in my NY photos, to return to one of the landscapes of the mountains of Andorra, from the Coll of the Bottle, (2069m).

In this framing I tried to catch the thickness of the first snow fallen there in autumn, but with the majestic pyrenean landscape as backdrop.

There are no any more secrets for this capture, simply I thought that it was something very beautiful and I shot my camera.

Hola mi amigo Josep.
De acuerdo contigo de que es una bella fotografía, además esta muy bien captada con la gran capa de nieve en primer plano y las impresionantes montañas al fondo teniendo en el medio una pista de esquiar. Magnifica perspectiva y profundidad, tu alto POV por supuesto que ayuda con la preciosa vista panorámica del lugar. felicitaciones.

It really looks like it has snowed a lot. I like this foreground, specially in combination with the snowcapped mountains on the background and the dark woods in the valley in between.
The diagonal lines make the picture very nice.

I really enjoyed the way you composed with the mountains in this zig-zag effect with snow, vegetation and different altitudes!

Hola Josep, love it all the way. A gorgeous mountain view with lots of snow and beautifully framed in the vertical for the nice sequence of layers and stronger depth. I usually perfer the distant snowcapped peaks but on this one I'll go for this amazing FG with absolutely perfect exposure and sharpnes - I can almost count the tiny grains of snow!

The visible crystals in the snow have been captured perfectly with the lovely light. There is fantastic depth in the scene with all the mountains zigzagging as your title indicates. Excellent shot

Les crête sont donc faites pour slalomer à skis. ces zig-zags sont bien vus et placés judicieusement dans un cadre vertical. Une belle image des Pyrénées. Bravo.

Fizestes bem em disparar e capturar, para nos mostrar, este belo momento do inicio do inverno. Gostei das formas geométricas com suas texturas, cobertas por neve, no primeiro plano, pois criaram um contraste muito bom em relação às montanhas mais distantes. Os tons brancos, cinzas e variantes do azul, tornam a foto bonita e elegante, digna de estar em impressa em qualquer catálogo de turismo. Bonita mostra. Abraço, Consuelo

So this is what Andorra looks like. It turns out to be a lot like Canada, only much smaller! Great shot, with the way you used the diagonal lines coming from each side, making the zig zag that is so visually interesting. Excellent work!

Cette photo de neige est très réussie. J'aime le rendu de la neige surtout au premier plan, on a le satiné des cristaux. Les montagnes du lointain sont superbes.

Me gustan mucho tus fotos de Nueva York, pero también una pequeña pausa es agradable, a veces.
Este paisaje de montaña es un cambio radical, pero muy agradable, con estos planos succesivos.
Un contraste excelente merced a tu primer plano, tan blanco y lleno de luz.

Amigo, pues bienvenidas tus bellas fotos pirenaicas (... así se dice... ? no estoy seguro).

El punto de vista y el formato vertical nos lleva a observar en perspectiva un bello panorama. El conjunto montañoso se equilibra muy bien desde el primer plano hasta el plano posterior, con un buen contraste de color y un perfecto manejo de la iluminación. Excelente y bonito trabajo, sin duda, mi amigo.

Félicitation Josep, ce cadage sur un paysage de montagne est vraiment très réussi. Les diagonales successives en zig-zag délimitent des plans qui ont chacun leur orginalité, leur contraste, leur couleur. un très bel équilibre et une bonne persepective dans cette très belle composition.

a splendid multi level panoramic shot of these snowy Mts slopes.I like that we can see until on the far end distance with the changes of the white and the dark green to make the scene so different.Really a simply but full of poetry shot.Well done.

J'aime beaucoup cette neige fraîche du premier plan qui, avec cette bonne lumière, donne un très agréable contraste avec le paysage montagnard du second plan. Le cadrage verticale est un bon choix pour donner beaucoup de profondeur. Très joli coup d'oeil, bravo Josep.

The secret is in your eye to compose the cast landscape so effectively, my friend! Love the mass of fresh snow in the FG, leading us to the valley & mountains beyond. The opposing diagonals & that slanted Z is what also creates depth & looks great. A fine shot indeed!

Magnifica foto, Josep. Se me hace dificil aceptar esta cantidad de nieve para el otoño, es sencillamente impresionante.
El encuadre capta la linea zigzageante que mueve el ojo desde el cielo y tope de la montaña hasta el espesor de la nieve.

Ciertamente el paisaje es sumamente bello, pero tambien se nota la mano del autor en esta buena composicion con la perspectiva de las diversas montañas en un bonito sesgo diagonal, fantastica esa nieve de primer plano, se ve tan real que casi se toca, un buen manejo de la luz con planos tan diversos de luces.
