Papagolfade in Andorra Photo

Photographer’s Note

During my short vacations in Andorra, which I have had to finish because of the bad health of my father, I have had the caprice of buying another intermediate camera, between the DSLR and the small compact one, and I have started taking photos with it.
This one is of the first ones that I have taken, and shows you another corner less known about this little big country between mountains: Sispony.

Sispony is a village of the Parish of La Massana, in Andorra, is placed in a buttress of "pla de la Costa", that dominates, for the right, Ordino's bank, to 1.315 m of altitude.

The church of the village is dedicated to Sant Joan, and is of modern construction, surely not previous to the 17th century. It has a belfry of tower and a rectangular ship. Recently it has been restored and the elements of certain interest put in value.
The WS is another capture of the same church, from another point of view and in vertical format.

Durante mis cortas vacaciones en Andorra, que he tenido que terminar a causa de la mala salud de mi padre, he tenido el capricho de comprar otra cámara de fotos intermedia, entre la réflex y la pequeña compacta, y he empezado a tomar fotos con ella.
Ésta es de las primeras que he tomado, y os muestra otro rincón poco conocido de este pequeño gran país entre montañas: Sispony.

Sispony es un pueblo de la Parroquia de La Massana, en Andorra, está situado en un contrafuerte del “pla de la Costa”, que domina, por la derecha, la ribera de Ordino, a 1.315 m de altitud.

La iglesia del pueblo está dedicada a Sant Joan, y es de construcción moderna, seguramente no anterior al siglo XVII. Tiene un campanario de torre y una nave rectangular. Recientemente ha sido restaurada y los elementos de cierto interés puestos en valor.

El WS es otra toma de la misma iglesia, desde otro punto de vista y en formato vertical.

Hola Josep, espero que tu padre este mejorando (dentro de lo posible).

Nuevamente nos traes nuevas y frescas vistas de la hermosa tierra de Andorra, la cual casi nos sentimos en la obligacion de llegar a conocer algun dia.

Solo por curiosidad... tienes algun atardecer en Andorra? Me imagino que han de ser espectaculares.

Me alegro mucho que estés de vuelta y antes que todo espero en Dios que tu padre se encuentre en plena recuperación.
Felicitaciones por tu nueva cámara.
Has logrado una excelente foto a pesar que la tomaste no en el mejor momento del día como se puede ver por las sombras, tu composición es magnifica con la preciosa iglesia rodeada de las impresionantes montañas. Me gustan mucho los colores y la gran definición que tiene. Buen trabajo.

Holá Josep,
Antes de todo espero sinceramente que tu padre estea ya mejor y que se ponga bueno rapidamente.
Apesar de todo veo que tubiste tiempo para comprar una 'bridge' y que ya empesaste a tomar buenas fotos con ella.
Me gusta este rincon con la vista de la montañas por detras ye l pequeño pero sencillo jardin que lo rodea.
La luz ès buena apesar de me parecer que tomaste la foto muy cerca del medio dia.

Hola Josep, nice to know this place of Andorra for the first time in TE - I apreciate new places in TE very much. What I like here is the general shape of the church combined with the mountain in the background as if the whole was some kind of dinossaur...The not so easy light is well managed and the colors are fine. The WS makes me smile by the creative way you included the hanged flowers. Good work with your new camera.

Deseo la pronta recuperación de tu padre.
he leido que te has comprado una camara intermedia, suelen ser muy manejables y eficaces...siempre se ha dicho que lo normal es lo mas rentable, aunque ya sabemos que a veces no se llega a la calidad que quisieramos.

la imagen me gusta, sobretodo el encudre que has realizado de la iglesia, con una parte posterior muy agradable a la montaña.

Felicitaciones por tu nueva camara, que dentro de lo que observo, puede darte grandes satisfacciones y sorpresas.

Me gusta el punto de vista utilizado, tanto en esta como en el WS, que de por si, guarda un magnifico contraste frente a ese azul tan puro que se refleja en el cielo.

Quizás no te diste cuenta, pero creo que la persona que camina por detras del arbol, distrae un poco, pero en terminos generales, es un magnifico trabajo.

Ánimos mi amigo, ten fé y deja todo en manos de Dios.

The design of the church looks interesting with stone column & slate roof with the mountain in the background. The light is difficult, but still you managed to show the details. Like the WS where you used the hanging flower pot very well. Nice work my friend

Hello Josep,

Ha ha, the way of our friend Philippe with a church as subject.
You did very well, nevertheless the difficult light through the backlight of the sun.
You place the church and tower excellent to the left, so we can see the mountain with the green trees on the slope.
Also the strong blue sky care for a good composition and nice presentation. TFS.

Espero que tu nueva cámara te de los resultados apetecibles, en principio, por lo que se ve en esta toma parece que funciona muy bien. Bonita vista de la pequeña iglesia con un magnífico fondo.
(perdona mi ignorancia, pero no entiendo que significa "Papagolfade", ya lo he visto escrito otras veces y aunque intenté traducirlo el resultado fue la misma palabra)
que pases un buen fin de semana.

Uma foto bem difícil de realizar contra a luz forte , é uma bela igreja de pedra bem simples, gostei da montanha coberta de vegetação verde faz um bonito contraste com o céu , bom enquadramento da foto, parabéns!!!
