Josep, I'm sorry your photo from yesterday was deleted. I thought it was an appropriate photo, showing that Spaniards celebrate a birth with a drink of cava. I think there are many photos posted on TE that are truly not in the spirit of the rules, but, for some arbitrary reason, they stay. Yours was not one of them. And you have certainly proven your respect for TE and its purpose. It's a shame. I hope you wrote to the administrators to protest and make your case. If you are persuasive, maybe they will reconsider. In any case, without dragging out my laborious Catalan again, I will once again congratulate on you grandson's birth.

As for my critique, the water symbolizes life. And also change. As someone once told me -- one of the most brilliant people I ever met -- a compatriot of yours from Catalunya, in fact -- you never set foot in the same river twice. I believe it is a quote from Heraclitus. And it seems to have a lot to do with photography and its relationship to the fleeting moment that never occurs again, yet is linked to a constant chain of moments that are all part of the same flow.

So there you go. A very meaningful photo.

You can almost hear the gushing water in this picture. The shutter speed certainly adds a sense of motion. Nicely framed too. Well done.

I can understand your feelings. First of all my congratulations, it is such wonderful thing to have a baby in the family. Maybe you remember, I also wanted to share my happiness with all the world when my granddaughter was born. She is a cute girl three month olc now. The second thing is the desactivation of the picture. It happens without a reason. If you have many critiques and the people like the pic, why to delete it? I know many such events. it seems to me unfair also to those who write critiques.
and at last, I like this photo and I hope it survives.

I didn't see the previous photo, but understand that congratulations are in order. Congratultions to you and Senora Marin on becoming grandparents, and congratultions to the baby's parents. Why not post a photo of the baby in the WS. I've seen other people who do that.
As for the photo it is a good waterfall image with a slow shutter speed to show the motion of the water. Well done

Je suis presque heureuse de ne pas avoir vu ta photo avec ce verre de Cava, comme ça aujourd'hui je pense que je peux (sans problèmes futurs avec le logiciel de censure de TE) te féliciter pour cette si bonne nouvelle!

Felicitaciones para ti y tu esposa por el nacimiento de tu nieto, ya me imagino la alegría que tienen ustedes de tan buen regalo que Dios les ha dado tanto a los abuelos como también a los padres. Un fuerte abrazo y que Dios lo guarde y bendiga.
Los que dirigen TE tienen que comprender que ya este programa de fotos para enseñar el mundo no es una pagina fría, sin vida, solo de fotos, ya TE es un grupo de amigos en todo el mundo y que como amigos que somos así actuamos y eso no tiene nada de malo ya que nos ayudamos cada uno con el otro y así he aprendido a tomar mejores fotos y hacer muy buenas amistades. Espero que ellos razonen y sean un poco flexibles en sus decisiones.

Me gusta mucho veer motivas de Andorra! En 1974 mi marido y you visitaba Andorra, un pais muy bonito, durante nuestra ruta de Lisboa, con un viejo Peugeot. Estaba nuestro viaje con automovil mas longo.

Josep, comme tu le dis, ces suppressions sont automatiques dès que quelqu'un signale un problème mais en écrivant et t'expliquant je crois que tu peux reposter la photo. Cette rivière est bien le symbole de la vie. Le temps de pose fait un flou qui dynamise la photo.

Acabo de ver tu nueva foto de introducciòn, y ho pensato: "Josep ha rejuvenecido subito!" :0)) De cierto modo, es la verdad, cuando nuestros descendientes llegano a la vida, es come nuestro rejuvenecimiento.
Enhorabuena, y muchas felicidades a los abuelos y a los padres! Mejores augurios por el niño! Que sua vida sea lunga, prospera y sobre todo feliz!
Lo siento que tu prima foto de augurio fue quitada . Pienso que las fotos estan quitadas cuando el azar hace que un membro decide di "relatar un problema" al automato, y pues hay nada que hacer! Los automatos son stupidos.

Pero, este rìo de vida trasmite la fuerza y la esperanza que debe acompañar un niño e sua vida.
Y tu has utilizado una astucia para presentarnos tu nieto. Es muy cariño.

Hola Josep,
Your deep love for Andorra, really makes me want to visit there, your photos all show it to be a very special place. I really like the way you have framed the cascades of FG water and the swift green pool as it changes direct below the diagonal of the river framed in rocks.

I expect we all have had a photo deleted for one reason or another; still it doesn't mitigate the shock of its absence. Mine was a photo of my parents, posted in the Valentine contest, shortly after joining TE. Even though mine clearly violated the TOS, it still really hurt.

So onto to better things. Is this your first grandchild? My only grandchild is 14; I'm still convinced that grandchildren are one of life's greatest rewards.

The other better thing is that the TE community continues to exist, no matter what the administration. Yet I do think the rules help make the site much more than the hopeless hodge-podge of most photo sites or the shark pool of other sites. The critiques, the way we strive to post our best efforts, a meaningful note & to be polite to each other are all framed by the TOS.

Por veces no entiendo las personas que comandan este site puès me recuerdo perfectamente de la foto y nota diciendo que era solo porque eras abuelo que estavas postando aquela foto y mismo asi la han retirado...
De todas formas mis felicitaciones por el momento que estás viviendo y mis deseos que todo se marche bien con el miembro más pequeño del clã Marin.
