Photographer’s Note

La Massana, en el Principado de Andorra. La foto muestra la Iglesia de Sant Iscle y Santa Victòria, de base románica reconstruida y ampliada durante los siglos XVII y XVIII, que está situada en pleno centro urbano. La luz fuerte y directa del sol dificultaba el tiro, pero me ofrecía bellas sombras y un gran contraste, por lo que decidí arriesgarme y disparar mi cámara compacta. El resultado me gustó, y me he decidido a publicarla aquí.

El WORKSHOP 1 es un detalle de la puerta principal, con este bello mosaico.

El WORKSHOP 2 es un plano del campanario con el Pico de Casamanya, de 2740 m de altura, al fondo.

La Massana, in the Principality of Andorra. The photo shows the Church of Sant Iscle and Santa Victòria, of Romanesque base reconstructed and extended during the XVIIth and XVIIIth century, which is placed in the middle of the urban center. The strong and direct light of the Sun was impeding the shot, but it was offering a few beautiful shades and a great contrast, for what I decided to risk and to shoot my compact camera. I liked the result, and I have decided to publish it here.

The WORKSHOP 1 is a detail of the main door, with this beautiful mosaic.

The WORKSHOP 2 is a plane of the belfry with the Peak of Casamanya, with 2740 m of height, in the background.

Hola Josep,

aunque llevo mucho tiempo sin pasar por aquí, veo que hay cosas que no cambian, y la calidad de tus fotos es una de ellas. Un foto realmente buena, con un buen punto de vista y un ángulo muy correcto. Que efecto tan extraño hace el lateral derecho de la iglesia que da la impresión está torcido respecto al marco blanco. Has consegido unos buenos colores. Te felicito.

Hace tiempo que participo poco en TE y me agrada ver otra de tus fotos. Lindo plano de esa pequeña iglesia. Auque no iluminada por el sol se aprecian bien los detalles de su fachada. Bonita imagen

You very well captured this beautiful church and its tower under amazingly clear, blue sky. Its soft colored façade and textures on tower are gives excellent feeling of age. Long shadows are wonderful on ground too. Another shot of closer look to tower and its beautiful mosaic on main door also very nice. Congratulations.

Deu fer goig passejar per un lloc així la veritat. El WS2 per cert, m'agrada molt. Com bé dius al títol, el joc d'ombres està molt ben vist.

Hi Josep - good shapes & composition in this one, the church really fills the frame. The foreground is a little dark but the detail in the workshop version compensates for that, so it's good work overall!

Olá Josep,
Bela foto desta igreja de arquitectura simples mas nem por isso menos bonita. Como em quaase todas elas, gosto muito dos detalhes que se podem apreciar. Gosto ainda do contraste com o céu.
Pena que a parte de baixo esteja um pouco escura não permitindo assim apreciar melhor a entrada.
Fiz um WS só para lhe dar um pouco mais de luz permitindo assim ver a entrada com mais detalhe. Espero que não te importes.

Beau cadrage pour cette église, tu as du la prendre en contre-jour car elle apparait un peu sombre sur mon écran, c'est un peu dommage car je le répète le cadrage est parfait.

Mais uma bonita foto de Andorra.
gosto muito deste exemplos de arquitectura romanica com fachadas simples mas austeras.
gosto desta luz forte e dura que dá uma atmosfera interessante à composição.
E o degradé de azuis no céu está fantástico.

Hola Josep.
Uno siempre piensa que se debe tomar la foto con una buena iluminacion y que este localizada en el objeto principal pero aqui tu rompes todas las reglas y haces lo contrario con unos excelentes resultados, creo que la foto es dificil y has logrado muy buenos detalles, de verdad que te felicito por el resultado que has tenido.

Pues si que voy retraso con tu galeria, bueno a decir verdad voy retrasado con todo el mundo. La tarea de buscar trabajo es mas laboriosa que la de trabajar propiamente dichca, jejeje.

Veo que todavia quedan rincores por descubrir de Andorra aunque todavia espero las fotos de Sant Joan de Caselles, jejejje,

La composicion es genial pero mucho mejor es la luz y como entra por la foto. Tambien las texturas son atractivas.

Una gran foto.

PS: Por el Baça tu tranquilo, todo forma parte de un gran plan maestro, jejeje
