This is a photo of the bottom of the Arinsal ski area, in North Western Andorra.

The picture is taken from one of the mountain lodges, looking North East over to the French Pyrenees. As you can see this part of the ski area is absolutely packed with people - this is because it is where all the nursery slopes end, and the photo was taken on a Monday morning, so all the beginner ski school classes have not yet moved on to the higher slopes.

The village of Arinsal is in the valley 500m below the edge of the terrace in the centre.
