Photographer’s Note

Hoy os propongo unas fotos más informales y divertidas, de un lugar que visito con frecuencia. Está en el pueblo de Arinsal, en el Principado de Andorra, y es un pequeño y acogedor restaurante con ambiente de montaña, y donde me encuentro como en casa. Se llama “El Bosc”.
La foto muestra una de las paredes del local, y podéis ver un elemento muy importante en la filosofía de este lugar, su pizarra donde hay las especialidades y recomendaciones del día, que están fuera de la carta. También es una pizzería, y las pizzas las elaboran y las cuecen en un horno especial, casi artesanalmente.

El WORKSHOP 1 muestra el chuletón de ternera de 500 gr. que se puede degustar allí. Apetitoso, ¿no?

El WORKSHOP 2 es una imagen del exterior del local, donde se ve la carta del restaurante en un pequeño escaparate iluminado.

Today I propose you a few more informal and funny photos, of a place that I visit often. It is in the village of Arinsal, in the Principality of Andorra, and is a small and hospitable restaurant with a mountain ambient, and where I am like in my home. It is called " El Bosc ".
The photo shows one of the walls of the place, and you can see a very important element in the philosophy of this place, his blackboard where there are the specialities and recommendations of the day, which are out of the menu. Also it is a pizzeria, and the pizzas elaborate them and cook them in a special oven, almost artisan.

The WORKSHOP 1 shows the veal entrecote (500 gr) that can be tasted there. Tasty, not?

The WORKSHOP 2 is an image of the exterior of the place, where one sees the menu of the restaurant in a small illuminated shop window.

Boa composição fotográfica desse aconchegante restaurante. Esses preços que aí aparecem são expressos em Euros?

Hola Josep,
The tidy detail and excellent light and color led me to open this photo. Your love of Andorra led me to read more about this country. They must have something special going on eating food like that shown in WS and having the highest life expectancy in the world. HLJ, Pat

This is wonderful scene and I like small –family- restaurants every time. Showing bottles of wines at first frame is a good idea and the dishes are reminds me (probably to everyone) mother cooks. Good appetite. Congratulations.

Tu quieres hacertele a nosotros la boca agua eh?
Una foto diferente e agradevole que nos da ganas visitar este retaurante en el pequeño pais de paraiso que es Andorra.
Buena composiciòn con la decorociòn y la pizarra a la izquierda y las botellas de vino detras de la barra.
Se adivina un atmosfera familiar.
Bien visto.

Hi Josep,

In WS three I see a completely Belgian menu, chips and a very great entrecote, showing bottle of wines at first frame is a good idea and the dishes are. Not this great restaurant, but I think appetising for eat, you show three excellent pictures. TFS.

Interesting presentation of the restaurant. You show us interior and exterior shots and even an example of the food. The proprietor should pay you commission. ;) Well managed exposure of this corner of the restaurant.

Hola Josep.
Que rico se ve ese chuletón de ternera de 500 gr. con papas (patatas) fritas, el cual se ve muy bien servido, el restaurante luce muy familiar, me hubiera gustado ver esta foto con detalles de las mesas pero me conformo con el menu y los buenos vinos. Por lo que veo escogiste del menu lo mas caro, LOL. Tus tres fotos estan estupendas.

Tot sembla molt apetitòs, però jo tinc certa debilitat per les "bravas". Em quedo amb elles.

No m'importaria gens veure al cambrer. De fet crec que seria interessant per a la foto.

Hi Josep - some very nice details here, this photo captures the atompshere of the place, along with your 2 workshop posts. The menu is important, displaying the list of available dishes (I would start with Tortilla de patatas!). Good work on the exposure too, the light is handled well & the colours are good.
