Loneliness between mountains Photo

Photographer’s Note

Otra foto tomada con mi primera y sencilla cámara digital, en Andorra. La foto muestra el gran aparcamiento para coches y autocares de la estación de esquí de Arinsal, en Vallnord. Esta imagen, captada en verano, con el aparcamiento casi desierto es muy distinta a la que se puede ver en invierno, cuando está toda esta zona llena de vehículos. En esta época es muy agradable pasear por estas montañas y por las pistas de esquí desiertas y llenas de flores. Es pura tranquilidad y silencio.

El WORKSHOP 1 muestra una vista desde una de las pistas de esquí, con las instalaciones mecánicas de subida hacia la cumbre de la estación. Justo aquí aprendieron a esquiar mis hijos.

El WORKSHOP 2 es una imagen de mimetismo entre mi perro y las margaritas que hay en este lugar. Sus colores de camuflaje le esconden entre las flores. Ahora es él quien disfruta corriendo en libertad por estas montañas.

Another photo taken with my first and simple digital camera, in Andorra. The photo shows the great parking for cars and motor-coaches of Arinsal's ski resort, in Vallnord. This image, caught in summer, with the almost deserted parking is very different from the one that it is possible to see in winter, when all this zone is full of vehicles. In this season it is very pleasant to walk along these mountains and along the lonely ski slopes and full of flowers. It is pure peace and silence.

The WORKSHOP 1 shows a sight from one of the ski slopes, with the mechanical facilities of raise towards the summit of the station. Precisely here my children learned to ski.

The WORKSHOP 2 is an image of mimetism between my dog and the daisies that exist in this place. His colors of camouflage hide him between the flowers. Now he is who enjoys running free for these mountains.

Hello Josep,
There are some interesting lines in this high capasity parking lot at high altitude!
The view from the place is awesome, and the mountains fading in the haze are simply beautiful...
Intriguing and unusual composition, with big emphasis to the big negative space!

Hola mi amigo Josep,

Unexpected surprise is appears instantly between lovely mountain ridges. Dilatations between concrete blocks are adding great ambiance to your photo at middle of natural greens. I like your well balanced photo that creates wonderful different toned mountain ridges at background. Your workshop photos are gives more details and beautiful portrait of your lovely dog. Congratulations.

This huge parking area is seems good for adventure landing and take-off with small airplanes. I must to try it in my flight simulator.

Hi Josep - weird setting for such a big parking area! I find this somehow funny. Once more the mountains in the background have special shapes, but less dramatic than your previous one. Regards, Daniel

Toujours ce beau panorama de montagnes, une lumière difficile t'a donné un ciel un peu surex mais pas grave, j'aime la perspective de cette large route qui donne de la profondeur.
Une belle image, j'aime.

En veure la foto pensaria que podria haver passar per un Neat Imagine o programa semblant. Però hi veig cap raó objetiva per fer-ho, llavors pensaré que aquest asfalt lleugerament indefinit té una altra explicació.

En tot cas un altre bon treball d'Andorra on els dos WS són útils per entendre millor com és aquest lloc.

Hola Josep, it's indeed an interesting and a bit strange scenery to see all this space without cars. Actually, the first time I went to Andorra, it was in the summer and I was very impressed with the green mountain views. It's incredible to compare this with winter time. Again, it's wonderful to see all the layers in the background. I loved the image of your dog lost in the daisies ;-)

The lines on the parking lot is certainly most interesting. What a grand view of the place with the receding layers of mountains as they provide brilliance in their shades. This is a very interesting composition my friend, where you've

Me gusta como se van perdiendo los tonos de las montañas hasta la mas tenue en el horizonte, comparto con otros la belleza desconocida por mi hasta ver tus fotos de lo que es Andorra. Tu eres un gran ejemplo del proposito basico de TE.
El parador con los automoviles le da escala y ademas profundidad a tu excelente foto.
