Photographer’s Note

Todavía en Arinsal, en el Principado de Andorra. Mañana voy a estar allí de nuevo. Esta foto muestra el campanario de la iglesia parroquial de este bello pueblo, con el detalle de sus campanas y su estructura de piedra y pizarra, típica de la arquitectura pirenaica.
El cielo estaba maravilloso, y me gustó este plano forzado desde abajo.

El WORKSHOP 1 es otro plano con un ángulo un poco más abierto donde se puede ver también una parte de la fachada principal de la iglesia.

El WORKSHOP 2 es la vista desde el lado opuesto, que quedaba en contraluz, pero daba un buen efecto, y donde pude añadir una farola y un poco de flores al encuadre.

Still in Arinsal, in the Principality of Andorra. Tomorrow I am going to be there again. This photo shows the belfry of the parochial church of this beautiful village, with the detail of his bells and his structure of stone and slate, typical of the pyrenean architecture.
The sky was wonderful, and I liked this plane forced from down.

The WORKSHOP 1 is another plane with an a bit more opened angle where it is possible to see also a part of the main front of the church.

The WORKSHOP 2 is the sight from the opposite side, which was staying in cross-light, but it was giving a good effect, and where I could add a lamppost and a bit of flowers to the setting.

Josep,
O ângulo de tomada ficou perfeito para mostrar essa linda torre. As cores e os pequenos detalhes estão muito lindos. A parede de pedra, incrivelmente moldada, contrasta com o escuro do sino. Linda fotografia.

(I have problem with my ISP in Iran for opening the thumbnails in TE,I don't know why,but this is a filtering system for another sites and subjects but amazingly works very bad !

Dynamic composition with wonderful details in the tower including the bells, good point of view where you make well use of the angle of light to create textures in the structure...

I love these old walls. These quarrystone walls, perhaps some bells and a wonderful sky, that's all what you need for a good picture. The light here helped you to emphasize the structure of this stone wall. It's much more beautiful than the glass facades of many high risers ;-)

Le clocher de cette église ressort magnifiquement de ce ciel d'un bleu uniforme. Le point de vue en contre plongée donne du relief et cette belle lumière accentue la netteté de l'image. Une belle composition et merci pour les photos complémentaire.

Bonjour, Josep.

Une jolie vue sur ce clocher roman et typiquement pyrénéen. Tu as su parfaitement tirer profit de ce magnifique ciel d'hivers qui élaire la scène de manière optimale. C'est juste un peu dommage d'avoir l'élément de toiture sur la gauche (on a un peu l'impression d'en voir trop ou pas assez), mais j'imagine qu'il était difficile de l'éviter.

Hi Josep - the detail is good, and the contrast between the grey colours of the stone church & the deep, blue sky works well. I think this is definitely the best of the 3 images (comparing with the 2 WS posts).

Doncs m'agrada més el WS amb el pla una mica més obert la veritat. (lo qual no vol dir que aquest no m'agradi per descomptat). Colors i contrastos bons.

Per cert, ahir estar avorrit i em vaig posar a veure el Barça...quina depressió per cert.

Otra preciosa foto de tu serie sobre las chimeneas. Tu composicion esta excelente con la arquitectura en contra del azul del cielo. Los detalles estan estupendos y tu WS#1 esta magnifico, me gusta mucho.

I always like these POVs, looking up an imposing structure against the deep blue sky. The textures of the stone has come off very well..but I'm unsure of the small roof part on the left..you could have cloned it out IMO. An excellent compo. nonetheless my friend

Olá Josep, I would say that you have some pretty good ones that fit in the series that you are showing now. This is a magnificent close approach of "Stone, wood and slate", with impressive quality. The colors and sharpness are excellent and the extra images are also very good, especially the WS1. Just continue with the good work with the series my friend.

Creo que alguna vez lo comente que este tipo de composicion apretadas me atraen mucho y encima en esta el azul limpio del cielo es el fondo perfecto. Las texturas de la piedra del campanario se ven super nitidas y esto genera un cierto realismo del cual a veces mis fotos carece.
PS: Que opinas de nuestro amigo Eto'o?? Sancion por indisciplina o dejamo correr el tema??
