You thought Albania is a primitive, rural country? That the cities are dull? That the buildings are old and neglected?

Not anymore.

Since the country ended its isolation the economy has been booming and the infrastructure has been improved.

What a lovely and clean place it is.
The girl on the right adds interest in the picture ,
diminishing line is the marvelous idea of composition.

It seems Albania is continuously improving...it's nice to see they are getting better...

I know lots of Albanian came back there after living in Italy and started some businessess....

I know almost nothing about that country, so any photos and postcards are welcome, no need for heavy creativity ;P
The street resembles so much one of the old streets of Zagreb, i was really astonished to see. TFS.

This is a good shot of a clean and inviting city street. The woman on the right adds a sense of motion for the scene. The lighting and colors are great as is the sharpness and detail.

Albania is not a common destination here on TE (it is not in general, maybe).

Hi Daniel,
This is a very impressive picture and well done the the Shkodra people for this first class regeneration. This is a bit like a showcase saying to everyone " This is what we like our streets to look like". It is also nice to read the comments of other TE members on this page saying "this is also what we want the Albanian streets to look like".
