Photographer’s Note

There are several Roman remains in Butrint of which the theatre dominates the centre of the site.
It was build in the 2th century AD and is very well preserved which you can see at the picture where you cab see the tribume and in the WS where the stage of the theatre is to be seen.

Mooi Gerrit om dit theater zo dichtbij te nemen met de ronding als grafisch element en een prachtig licht verloop van donker aan de zijkant.
Een mooi geframed shot van deze ruine, een goed document.

It's also very similar to the Greek theatres. It's interesting that so much remains after so much time. I like the way the light/shade changes from left to right.

Good composition and interesting perspective.The dark foreground getting brighter in the center and background looks good.This ancient building is nice framed by the trees.Good light and sharpness and nice colors everywhere.
