Photographer’s Note

I spotted this little guy guarding some boats. It looked like he was really bored. I think this shows more daily life compared to my previous ones of Albania.
I took this picture from across the river with full zoom without tripod or fixation point. No colour corrections only some sharpening. The water really had that beautiful colour.

very good feeling here for the boy with his nice styling of the feeling bored:)
great light and colors and very well captured,and it seems that you had a styrong light but well managed,well composed,too and a nice hunt!

Cette petite masure au bord de l'eau toute verte, sortie de nulle part, avec ses fils électriques, avec ces barques sans age et ce gars qui attend on ne sait qui ou quoi..C'est En attendant Godot de Samuel Beckett.
c'est plein d'humour et c'est bien fait!

Als ik het goed begrijp is deze foto genomen tijdens een vaartocht, indien dat dit de bewaker is dan zal hij blijkbaar niet zoveel werk hebben, het absoluut geen slechte foto, ik denk dat er betere zullen komen dan deze.

An interesting daily life scene you spotted here, Hendrik. The vivid colors are very nice here and at a somewhat odd contrast to the boredom that the poor guy seems to experience. Nice composition with the off-centered position of the hut surrounded by the boats.

Quand on voit cette photo on se dit que les distractions ne doivent pas etre tres nombreuses, juste parfois un touriste Belge de passage qui cherche a faire partager ses experiences exotiques a ses amis de TE ;-)
Bonne illustration de cette scene de vie, et comme toi j'aime aussi la couleur de l'eau. C'est juste un peu dommage qu'il y ait ce gros poteau... mais j'ai deja bouffe mes deux WS aujourd'hui !

Well this is a good thema, about work, many work are boring, sometimes we are choice about the salary or the good place to live !!! hard to choose.

It's a nice daily life scene but somehow I feel it misses dynamism. On the other hand, that's probably the point, to convey through composition the idea of things static...
