Only joking! These old fellows were playing dominoes under the shadow of a tree and were somewhat surprised and uneasy when suddenly saw my big camera pointing at them.

This is a wonderful shot. It immediately reminded me of one of my photos of old men playing domino in a park in Berat. I called it "Grumpy old men", because they look startled and not entirely pleased with being disturbed. But these two guys look a lot more "grympy" than mine. I also love how they look like Siamese twins, resting their right arms the same way, turning their faces the same way, having the same expressions, wearing the same kind of cap. Luckily they have different kinds of shirts, maybe so their mother could tell them apart ;-).

A terrific daily life shot, a great double portrait in the candid, spontaneous style. I bet these two old fellows sit there every day, and don't expect someone to poke a very large DSLR in their faces! You captured a great look, and the title is just perfect. Isn't it remarkable that they are both sitting in exactly the same pose, with hand on knee! Converting to b/w was a great idea.

Hi Aleks. So much for the famed Shqip hospitality. Just joking. I too like the mirror effect of the hands. Thank god they are not wearing baseball caps. Regards. Klaudio.

A very good B&W capture of these "grumpy old men". I like the way they coordinate their arms, like they followed a choreographic scheme. Their facial expressions are very well captured, I wonder what they would say, if they ever saw this upload!
