Photographer's Note
Very close to Tirana's covered market. Whilst is is not as neat as it can be you can find everything here. This is how most of people in Tirana shop whereas the few that do not shop here go to to the newly built fancy shops and shopping centres.. see workshop

Hello Aleks,
A very interesting note you have given us here as well as an interesting (and also rather depressing) workshop picture. I know exactly where I would wish to do my shopping - in the street market, of course, where prices are probably better, the fruit and vegetables are probably fresher and I might also get some friendly personal service, unlike the service (or lack of service) which we usually find in modern shopping centres. In fact, it's depressing that your workshop picture could have been taken in any indoor shopping centre anywhere in the World - and it also interests me that their security staff are as paranoid as they are in Britain about taking photographs - crazy, isn't it?
This is a fine colourful picture with lots of interest and lots of things going on. Lots of detail and excellent sharpness. I rather like the wide horizontal format too and the deep frame.
Excellent!
Kind Regards,
John.
