Yes, the architecture here is quite distinctive, and the degree of dilapidation says a lot about the state of the country. Very nice compo, with the person walking past, and the portrait format catching a lot of the building. Just checked Tirana portfolio, and note that this is only the 11th shot of this European capital (mus be the for Europe, if not the world), really quite a secret, as you say.

Hej Adam. Very nice shot from Tirana... great b/w. I like the soft focus and the bright white building, it is very urban yet raw, just like Tirana. Pozdrawiam

I like the soft focus a lot, I think it works well in conjuction with the b/w. Personally I would have tried this in horizontal format to exaggerate the peripheral positioning of the man.
