hei, Sebastien, long time no see :) but if you've been buzy making photos like this one, I forgive you the prolonged absence :))
I like a lot how you have composed the shot with the blurred silhouette of the man filling what otherwise would be empty part. impeccable quality and colours, but what I like best is how engaging the photo is, even with the sunglasses it's clear he's looking right at you :)

Like the composition a lot. Clever alignment of blue, red and yellow colours.
Peerless pin sharp foreground. Not that keen on the background: a bit too tiresome.

A close portrait in your gallery?!? Strange but very well managed, I like the 'YO look' of this guy and from the others on the backgrounds bokeh.
Also this vivd colours bring a lof of life and character to the photo as they're quite usual to be seen on the guys which follow this type of culture.

Great picture here! Your depth of field is amazing and really adds to the picture. Also your composition is great with the three people. I also like the colours with the blue red and yellow. The reflection in his sunglasses is just great as well!

P.S. I have just done a workshop to see if I could take you out the picture. To be honest, it doesn't really make a big difference if your in or out and people might prefer you in. I dont know which you prefer but I hope you don't mind me playing with your picture!

un clip qui colle bien à ces fous du volant (du guidon)
superbe netteté, un beau flou sur l'arrière (amplifié en post traitement ?)
la compo, cadrage eexcellent, ce que j'aime bien c'est ces trois personnages à un plan différent, trois couleurs complémentaires (heu, primaires pour être plus exact !), leur look également, vraiment la classe cette photo :)

welcome back to the TE world after a wel deserved rest in DR. Again?
Is this also the openning shot for a new lens? At least I have never realized that you have this prime lens 50mm, f/1.4. Oh, I just looked back and saw that you already had it before but didn't use the the wide open aperture to explore the blurred background. Both, the main post and the WS, are clearly with a wide open shutter and blurring quite strong. An interesting alternative that makes me think about this artistic option. The foreground is crisp sharp and contrasts extremely well with the background.

I love this effect of 50 mm. It renders great bokeh like the one here. You lined up 3 basic colours, which goes out of focus to the end of the line. I mean, very good compo. ))

Bonjour, Sébastien. Je pense que tu as exploité au maximum les possibilités de ton objectif et cela donne un bokeh d'enfer. L'alignement des trois gaillards en une splendide diagonale me plaît beaucoup tout comme les trois couleurs qui contrastent très bien. L'arrière-plan donne l'impression d'avoir été peint. C'est impressionnant.

J'aime l'expression nonchalante du mec, et surtout les reflections clairs sur ses lunettes. Bien cadree et balancee avec les deux autres mecs en arriere. Superbe image.

J'aime aussi beaucoup le reflet dans les lunettes.

Aaaaah encore parti se la couler douce sous les cocotiers pendant que les autres bosses sans fin, c'est trop injuuuste ;-)
Ils ont l'air fun pour circuler tes potes, ton super caillou t'a permis de decouper la silhouette au rasoir et de mettre tout le reste dans le bokeh, et en prime on a meme droit a un chouette autoportrait ;-)

Joli autoportrait (non je sais que ce n'est pas toi en bleu mais ton reflet dans ses lunettes. Le cadrage avec une bonne distance entre le 3, l'excellent bokeh et le fait que chacun porte une coleur primaire différente donnent un résultat superbe.

Very cool photo Sebastian. One thing that struck me immediately was the colors of their shirts. Blue, red, and yellow. The primary colors. I like seeing your reflection in his glasses too. Great note as well.

I remember in Cambodia and Vietnam you also have moto drivers and they are indeed crazy! But it is a great experience and the best way to get around through the chaotic traffic and very cheaply. I like the colouring in your shot, kind of muted. And these guys are pretty cool in their shades, nice use of depth of field too.

A superb and very striking composition with exceptional sharpness of the main subject. I was going to say that I thought the photo-shopping of the background was a little overdone, but then I saw several other critiquers assuming that this was due to a very defined DOF from your f/1.4 lens - so now I am hesistant to raise that criticism in case I am wrong. Could you enlighten us please? Did you enhance the blur in PS?
