During my visit to Santa Clara in Cuba, I stay such a long time in Che Guevera's resting place. N 22'24'08'8 W 79'58'45'9...
Although Argentine and not Cuban in origin, Ernesto Guevara ("Che") has acquired an almost religious status in Cuba. After his role in the revolution and his functions in the post-revolutionary government, he was killed in 1967 in Bolivia by CIA agents and Bolivian police, and as it often happens this made him a martyr and hero for the Cuban people. His image can be found on the many books for sale in Plaza de Armas in Havana, in schools, homes, squares, on badges, fridge magnets, posters, and on the inevitable huge monument to his memory in Santa Clara.

When I see the statue of great revolutionary man I've thought to share it with the new moon on the sky. Using the last lights of the sun on the monument.

nice the monument of 'el comandante' with this great angle of view in combination with the appearance of the new moon on the sky.I like the contrasted colors and the vivid light that falls in the scene.Informative your note.

This is an outstanding capture, a fantastic "portrait" of one of the greatest personalities, in my humble opinion, that ever lived on this planet. A symbol of the strugle of mankind for justice, dignity and equality. Great choice to upload it on the 1st of May, a great day for the Workers' right movement. Excellent framing and composition, great low POV, fantastic warm colours and a beautiful moon to complete the great impression! Congratulations!

Merhaba Ishan,
un'inquadratura decisamente originale in un set al chiaro di luna che rende la foto ancora più romantica, nonostante la statua sia armata. Mi piacciono molto i colori ed i contrasti. Bravo.

His photograph is claimed to be the most famous and recognizable image ever taken.

Good idea of composing but the immage quality is not outstanding. There seem to be some dust specles left on the lense.

A looming presence though.
