Photographer’s Note
The Chaguanas open air market by Port of Spain in Trinidad is a huge gathering for islanders shopping for fruits and just about any kind of household item you can imagine. There's a big population of Indians, along with Caribbean and South American people of African ancestry, so you have Christians, Hindus and some Muslims. It all works, and this melting pot has a unique feel to it, part Latin America, part Caribbean. Definitely one of the more interesting places I've seen in the Caribbean.
