Midsummer has been and gone, a cold wind is blowing outside, it’s pouring with rain…. and I’m weary and worn out from travelling and working. In view of all of this, I thought this was an appropriate image to post. We are on the island of Mustique and this is Britannia Bay. The shabby looking huts in the distance are one of the few restaurants on the island – Basil’s Bar, which, despite its ramshackle appearance served the most delicious and succulent seafood I’ve ever eaten.

Bonjour, Susanna.

Daniel.

Great depth!

Hi Susanna
I can see that the sky is not only dark here in Switzerland ! I
like your composition with those small and beautiful feet
entering the picture. The colors and DoF are good too. I miss
such a place with good seafood.
Regards
Quentin

Hello susanna. The motive of the stretched legs. Already HCB played with this motive. It is expression for the view in and the curiosity on the future. A beautiful photographic contribution. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Very creative compsotion. I like so much the touch of red brought by your shoes and nails in this dark green environment. Great depth. Very well done.

Hi Susanna,
The weather here is not much better, even worse...to much rain, to cold :-(
Seeing this one gives me a warm feeling. Very nice taken with your own legs on it (nice red:)).
The depth is amazing, also enhanced by the pier of course. Colours are good, in the water and in the sky. The beach has a very soft look, i like that...very nice.
Regards, Henk

It sounds like all Europe are having a bad time weather-wise. We can all dream to be in the Carribean looking at your photo, although they have dark clouds too. Interesting composition with inclusion of your legs, and the little jetty carries our eye out to sea.

Bonsoir Susanna
Bye !
Xavier

Salut Susanna,

Bonne journee,
Jena-Yves

Hi Susanna,
I don't know in Basel, but the sun was bakc in Geneva today and should hang around until Saturday, then... I'd prefer not to think about it! :o(
Nice use of the extra-wide angle and I like the way you've included your feet in the photo (it adds a bit of red color to the compo). The colour of the water makes me feel like going for a swinm but it does seem that a storm is building up in the back!
Have a nice evening.
Bibi

Now I wonder what part of this image is the one for my sore eyes. Probably the red painted toenails ... :-) LOL
Quite interesting and amusing composition and a good tip on the restaurant with the best sea food in the world.

amicalement

Fantastic perspective and setting here.. Really makes me wish that I was in the Grenadines! Well done. Regards, Doug
