A couple of beautiful water lilies in the Botanic Garden in Kingstown. If you would like to see some more images like this then I have a theme called Pollination which has pictures of water lilies with bees.

Nice colourful flowers, very sharp and good contrast between the darkness and the very green leafes. Well done!

Lovely shot really vibrant blue petals against the green leaves. Good composition and depth of view. Well done.

One of the best flower photos I've seen, beautifull colours, great composition. Amazing..

Jonathan, the colors and contrast on this shot are striking, but you knew that. I particularly like the highlighted edges of the leaves at the bottom, against the very dark background. Someone less able might have cropped that bottom part out in favor of the blinding blues, magentas and yellows at the top. Well done.

Une photo techniquement et artistiquement très réussie. Une bonne DOF une netteté sans faille et des couleurs sublimes je me demande pourquoi cette photo n'est pas plus notée.

Jonathan--I'm an amateur painter based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This photo of a water lily is beautiful. I'm painting a group of paintings based on water lilies and I'm wondering if you'd give me permission to use your photo for one the paintings.
