[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A couple of beautiful water lilies in the Botanic Gardens in Kingstown, St. Vincent. If you look closely you can see a bee on the top flower as well as the bottom one.

This is a third picture in my Pollination series. The other two were posted several weeks ago.

My gosh, this is one of the most vivid pictures I have seen! The colors are so sharp, the picture looks almost fake. Very good use of focus.

wow! this is a picture with awesome colors...great shot, very well done!

Wonderful close-up, the details are so clear and sharp, not to mention the colours, they are superb. And the caption of the bee hovering above the flower is excellent. Well captured Jonathan!

Amazing photo
This is what photography is all about.
Well done

Excellent shot! The colours really jump off the screen - particularly the contrasts between the vivid blues and the darker greens in the background. The bees are a very nice touch too. On the downside, I think a fraction more DOF would have been ideal, the nearest flower is just beginning to lose sharpness at the back edge, and I think a little less sharpening on the flying bee would probably help - it's starting to look a little pixellated to me. Anyway brilliant capture, added to my favourites :-D

De toute beauté. Je voudrais mettre directement 10 points mais malheureusements je dois me contenter de 2 petits points. Dommage...

Beautiful macro Jonathan, great colors and light and excellent DOF, very sharp, well done.

Superb photo. The focus seems to be on the upper flower. What lens did you use??? I see you shot Fira by night which serves as my desktop scene now. My Nikon D70 hero of the day.

Le relief et les couleurs sont parfaits. Bravo
