Night Colours II Photo

Photographer’s Note

Another shot from the beautiful location of Villa Beach.

This is a variation on a picture posted a few days ago called Night Colours. This time there are no people in the foreground but I have included a section of beach. It is illuminated by an electric light which gives the slightly strange colouring but I think this actually fits well with the other colours in the picture.

I ran the photo through NeatImage to reduce noise and also applied a little smart blur. This gave the clouds their fluffy effect. In the original the clouds were slightly blurred due to movement in the 20 sec exposure and the effect I created here was preferable.

Very nice. The water is so still. I love the light/shade you have captured here. The light from the yacht keeps catching my eye. Thanks for sharing.

A very nice and clear shot Jonathan. Beautiful place with nice sunrise colors. I would try to avoid the black zone on the right side of the picture by choosing another point of view. Maybee it was not possible. Well done !

Very beautiful Jonathan, it looks very peaceful. The colours of the sky are superb, the contrast is very nice and due to the long exposure time you can even see the movement of the clouds. Well captured!
