Photographer’s Note
I took this image while sitting in my beach chair at Sandal's in St. Lucia. This young local wanted to grab my camera after I took the shot. Looking at the amount of sand on him I kindly refused him that opportunity. I spent hours watching this young lad and his friends playing on the beach. I know the light wasn't in the right spot (shadowed face), but I came out really appreciating the simplicity of the shot. I did not manipulate the image in any manner.
