Hallo Achim. Dieses Motiv ist etwas besonderes. Normalerweise könnten hierher Gläubige pilgern. Statt einer kleinen Kapelle ist jedoch eine stattliche Antenne zu sehen. In gewisser Weise wird dem Felsen dadurch der Zauber gnommen. Trotzdem ein faszinierendes Bild. Viele Grüße, Wolfgang.

Ce gros caillou rouge qui sort de l'océan témoigne de l'activité volcanique d'une époque. J'aime la verdure qui le recouvre.

It is a very unusual sight to see such a tall, small island in the middle of the sea. It makes it doubly unusual that it is/was used. Well captured with good detail.

Amazing rock/island, Achim - can't believe how small it is!

Pretty impressive rock with the 'bunker' almost invisible, hidden in the middle of the vegetation. Nice tight composition and good contrasts with the soft tones of sky and sea.

Hi Achim!
Quite impressive!I suppose it was part of the main island before! Yes, it's a wonder if the telecommunication station is still in use. If so, it might not be for a long time, as erosion is probably going to carry on having a go at the rock! I like the POV and the fact that vegetation will always find a way to grow in the most unlikely places!

Hi Achim,
The way you've almost fiulled the frame with this tiny island is very effective; that bit of sky and water emphasizes it well. I envy your POV from a catamarran. I thought perhaps you were a sailor, but you say nothing about the sailing in your travelogue.

this evening, among your beautiful photos, I have chosen this because it is particular and curious. The photo is technically excellent, with a good definition of the details, but what that I like to think is about being on this island during a storm of sea with the waves that enter into the house. Excellent job, compliments.

At first glance I thought this was the Tanah Lot temple in Bali! Very similar where the temple stands on an isolated rock with the sea lashing on all sides. I think you mentioned something similar in your thread with Wolfgang...though I don't fully understand German. Another country to see from you, another lovely image!

This island is impressive with the communication station surrounded by the trees. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the rock and trees. The subject is well frame. The light is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.
