Photographer’s Note

Boats at Anse Pitons. "Anse Pitons" means beach near the pitons. "Pitons" are volcanic mountains which look like a conus (in the WS I have add a pic of the pitons)

The picture was taken from a catamaran during a crusade to the pitons and the vulcano, which is called drive-in volcano (drive-in because you could drive through the landscape of the heat springs )

the POV "over" the water from the catamaran is excellent.

farbenfroh nenne ich so ein Bild. Mit den Reflektionen auf dem Wasser und den Palmwedeln dahinter ein total abwechslungsreiches Spiel. Nur schade, dass der Mensch rechts nur am absoluten Rand ist.

Both pictures are lovely Achim, but I chose for these, mainly the colours from the palm trees are very wonderful, a splendid place for a good holiday under the palmtrees. TFS.

Good beach shot from the boat. The sharpness on the palms is very good with excellent contrast making them stand out. Well done.

It's funny how you jump from one continent to the other. This is a nice and colourful shot, very exotic. I like the vegetation and the colourful boats. Well done!

I like the striking red & yellow boats, contrasting against the tropical greens of the coconut palms. Good sharpness, colour, & pov, on this attractive beach. Tfs!

Great image i can see here.
The sharp, colours the detail's tree are wounderful.
Maybe i should have cut more up the photo, in this way was possible see more tree (are realy beautiful)

Achim, I can understand that you used the WS photography as WS, although I prefer the WS over the main post. Anyway, I don't want to give you the impression that the main post isn't good. The colors of the boats being framed by the palm trees and the silver colored water is gorgeous. I certainly would have used a polarizing filter.

Hi Achim, ok today let's travel to saint lucie in your gallery ;) This is so exotic, hmm so many countries visited, and this is a place where i would love to spend the afternoon.
Seems so simple life, andyour picture shows it well. Two things : perhaps the picture is a little bit too luminous and perhaps the picture a little bit too sharp.
Anyway this is good i like it ;)
