Photographer’s Note

This photo was taken when we were hiking Pigeon Island to see the sunset. There was a second path to the right to a second view point, but they told us the one we went was better. So I'm taking the photo from the other view point.
I saw that flag and I thought cool golf course, of course it wasn't one. But quite a challege if this was a real one.
I hope you'll like this photo.

As a golfer I can appreciate this photo. I always enjoyed the calenders showing cartoons of ridiculous holes. And this one indeed could fit in. It does look like a fairway (so narrow...lol). Well-seen, and appropiate title indeed.

Hi Daniel,

very interesting view. Nice contrast between the dry grass and plants with the green of the trees. I like the half lightened and the half darkened sides. Great capture!

A nice, "furry mountain" portrait, Daniel. I like the combination of the warm light and the yellow savannah-like grass and road leading right into the middle of the composition. Not so sure about half of the composition being in deep shadow (on the right side of the foto), but then again - it provides a fresh contrast against the sun-lit side of the capture. My compliments.

Nice mountain shot, good framing. The color settings are good despite a little bit of noise in the sky.

Very beautiful light, I like a lot the little contrast between the two slopes. Not only the light, the sharp is perfect, and the colors very well rendered. It's really a terrific shot! Thanks.
