Waiting for Sunset Photo

Photographer’s Note

This pictures was taken at the top of Pigeon Island in Saint Lucia. The reason for the title is that we hiked to the top to wait for the sunset, it was rally hot and humid day. Once we got to the top we had to wait like 1 hour to see this beautiful sunset. The sun goes down behind Pigeon Island so from the resort there was no way to see it. That is why we hiked. Complete worth it. It was beautiful. Ofcourse the we had to hiked back kind of on the dark, but we maded it!!!

sometimes I have a feeling that people are tired of sunset/sunrise photos, since there are so many of them and it's difficult to present something new and exciting. I guess that's the reason I myself have been reluctant to poste anything like that. but, on the other hand, time and again I have to admit that no two sunsets are the same, and certainly not for the person taking the shot.
I do like the serenity of the scene and the liquid metal feel of the water. beautiful colours, although the sun is may be too centered and too white. but I love the image of the exclamation mark it makes.
