Photographer’s Note
I was really hoping to see the mysterious green flash during sunset, but alas, no luck this time. I did see a fantastic layered sunset however, one that I won't soon forget. As a matter of fact, I didn't see the green flash at all - oh well, next time I guess.

Hi Daniel,
Reminds of a cruise we took in the Caribbean.
When each night as the sun went down the captain would always get people looking for the green flash. I never got to see one either.
Regards Arnie.

Hello Daniel,
It is a pleasure to discover this largely unappreciated sunset. It is highly unusual — an original — to put the sun right at the lower periphery of the frame. It's an excellent shot, but an alternative manner would be to crop it from the top, so that the aspect ratio would be 1.618 wide by 1.000 high. This would give it the shape of the 'golden rectagle' (feautered in some of mankind's greatest artistic and architectural creations, e.g. the Parthenon). You woulde have to make it 800x494 pixels.
Warm regards,
Bulent
