[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the south corner of the Caribbean Is. of St. Kitts. To the left is the Atlantic Ocean, yo the right is the Caribbean sea. On the background is the island of Nevis. The island was named after Christopher Columbus.

St. Kitts was a english colony until mid 80's. Its two major sources of income are sugar and tourism.

Hi Enrique,
I really like your picture! It's an interesting place, even water seems to have different color on the different sides of this island. Also, i see highways there! Do people actually live on that island? Anyway, it's a beautiful photo, i really like how it starts off from bright green in front, and then gradually loses the color and eventually disappears in the mist.

Nice scene here, the colours are pretty amazing, the road adds depth. Only critisism is the way the sky has lost detail, an ND grad would have added to this I think...

nice shot and an amazing place. the island down the centre holds our attention very well, framed in by the water on each side.

this photograph also has a wonderful sense of depth, created by the low land in the middle and the mountains in the distance.

this photo is definitely in the spirit of trek earth, exploring the world through photography.

Hola Enrique,
he descubierto esta foto, y me parece muy buena. Es un paisaje interesante, con el brazo de tierra que divide la imagen en dos partes, con dos mares distintos, incluso en su color del agua.
El horizonte con neblina queda un poco difuminado y misterioso.
Me gusta su color, su luz, y su encuadre.

Nice shot! Very beautiful scene. I like the mist or rain on the background. The Caribbean sea looks very calm and 'warm'. I wish I could visit the place.
