Photographer’s Note
San Blas is an archipelago of about 400 islands off the Atlantic coast of Panama. It is owned by the native Kuna people who live autonomously from the Panamanian government according to their own laws and traditions. The Kuna live in straw huts clustered on the islands and they travel to others by boat. I took this picture at sunset from one such boat.
