Photographer’s Note
This was taken at there plaza downtown where all the protesters meet before marching. The gentleman in the front's sign is taking a shot at President Martin Torrijos, who had previosly announced a very unpopular number of changes to the Social Security system. To the right Editor of The Panama News, Eric Jackson, interviews one of the leaders of a major citizens movement developed to challenge the changes.
