Photographer’s Note

In some countries car plates can be very pleasant to look at and good subjects for shots.

In this one the ship is probably a symbol of the Panama Canal.

Rather than a complete close-up I include part of the back bumper of the track, for a bit of depth.

The location is the province of Chiriqui (pron. Chee-ree-KEE) in Western Panama.

Scanned, the scratches and apparent noise are part of the plate and bumper, so I didn't remove them.
