It's a really good shot Sergio, with the mother and her child but, but...
What really evoked my attention is that crappy, trashy yard back there...
For me it's the whole philosophy of life of the certain kind of poverty of utmost every country.
That photo says more about these people, about the country and about that particular place than dozen of idiotic postcards with the monuments and churches.
Again...It's a good photo...Smart photo...Much needed photo.
Thanks, mate

hi sergio,
I don't know what's more sad - the look in the woman's eyes or the horrible backyard with its junk and dirt.
do I understand your note correctly that this quarter is in the centre of Panama..? it reminds me of my stay in India, when the taxi driver would take me to the office crossing an interminable city center made of such rotten, forgotten houses.
it's unbelievable that foreigners can pass by and pretend not to see.
thanks for this image and for reminding us.

Hello Sergio,
There is a certain sadness in the Mothers eyes, despair, where does the next meal come from? a question I could not answer.
The young child looks healthy, with lovely dark curls in hair.
There are scenes in all countries in this world as this.
Goverments and officials cream off the wealth, some people have no hope left.
It is a good photo, focus on you subject, good colour
Thank you for showing this photo.
Regards
Robert
