[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Who could imagine a tropical evening without a few geckos hanging languidly on the walls or from the ceiling above their heads? Many a happy evening I've spent with a cold beer watching them hunt moths or battle with each other for territory. Their friendly chirping sound (gek-ko, gek-ko) belongs as much to the tropical soundscape as the call of the Muezzin in East Africa or the chai seller in India. Their magical ability to grip onto any surface notwithstanding, on more than one occasion I've actually had them land on my head following pitched territorial battles on the ceiling above me!

I shot these guys in the tiny village of Santa Catalina, Panama, on New Years Day this year. Just hangin' around...

Hi Phillip
This photo makes me laugh as it reminds me of when my sister-in-law screamed on seeing one on her wall in Barcelona. I caught it and let it loose in the nearby park :)
These ones are quite sharp and stand out well against the yellow, brightly lit wall. Interesting play of light and shadow.

this is a great and funny shot, and is a good night shot moment, inside the house, in a place we don't think we must see here on TE, but is really good, the time/moment for that, a love moment for las lagartijas. :)

The note is really important to get your point and to appreciate this shot as "travel experience"... After, you just have to enjoy the technical realization, which is perfect and impressive.
