[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
From a small village called Cerro Punta in the Chiriqui highlands one can do a wonderful hike along the "Sendero de los Quetzales" to Boquete. It is really special as in that forest one can indeed spot Quetzales the national bird of Guatemala, which can hardly be seen in Guatemala itself. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quetzales
I saw two of these most elusive birds but it was so hard to photograph them that I decided to take a picture of the colibris (humingbirds). They are not as shy and you can go as close as one meter.
I hope you like the picture.

nice how you captured the moment when the bird has its mouth or beak or whatever you call it inside the flower. Seems like a very bucolic place.

Hola Christian, thanks for your visit which gave me the opp to get to know & enjoy your Gallery with very attractive captures...certainly liked this one with the lighting, colours, detail & that 3d effect created with the foreground lit bush and the background darker tree...very captivating !
