Photographer’s Note
In some countries car plates can be very pleasant to look at and good subjects for shots.
In this one the ship is probably a symbol of the Panama Canal.
Rather than a complete close-up I include part of the back bumper of the track, for a bit of depth.
The location is the province of Chiriqui (pron. Chee-ree-KEE) in Western Panama.
Scanned, the scratches and apparent noise are part of the plate and bumper, so I didn't remove them.

Hi Daniel,
The plate certainly seems to be in better condition that the car. The ship is interesting detail. I like your framing.
Some day I'll submit New Zealand license plates. Some of them have quite personal messages.

HiDaniel,
Good picture. Well seen.
Panama is a country that attracks many shipholders because of the fact you can sail cheap under the Panaman flag. Maybe that's got to do something with it.
Thanks and regards, Gerrit

Hi Daniel,
Nice subject. This plate is quite different and has interesting colours. I like your ideia of shoting part of the truck as to add depth. Well framed, nice colors and contrasts. What a bout create a theme to show only plates from different countries, it could be fun. The ones in Quebec are iteresting for sure.

Hi Daniel,
Panama is famous as land of registration for ships. Maybe are the condition for car to be registered are also very profitable.

I know it's only a car plate but as you say, it was the artwork on it that has made it what it is. Like it Daniel.
