Photographer’s Note
This was taken in the Casco Viejo district in Panama City. To the right is buildings like there--old colonial architecture in need to restoration; and to the left is the Presidential Palace, and a bit more to the left you would see the new Panama City - skyscapers, representing prosperity and some sort of promise of a better life. It was an interesting, yet a bit depressing to walk through this part of town, with the view of the city.
I like the older part of town though, even though it is unsafe in some parts. There were lots of photographic opportunity, but i felt uncomfortable doing so. This is a rare one as i was using a telephoto lens.
